Bitunix Opens A UK Branch As An Expansion Of International Operations
Two weeks ago, crypto derivative exchange Bitunix announced its first branch in Dubai. Heading into May, Bitunix turned its new expansion map to Europe, announcing the establishment of the branch, BITUNIX TECHNOLOGIES LTD in the United Kingdom.
Bitunix derivative exchange was founded in Hong Kong in November 2021, and has been in steady development for two years as of now. After the cryptocurrency market gradually recovered from last year’s bear market, Bitunix took advantage of the momentum to start its globalization operations.
Arron Lee, co-founder of Bitunix, says the UK is one of the countries with the longest history of financial development as well as the most complete regulation worldwide, making it a suitable place for startup teams to learn and grow in terms of compliance and asset management. “We hope to take advantage of the UK environment and resources to prepare for compliance and safe development in the long term”.
As for the European market, Arron says that there are many cryptocurrency users in Europe, and Bitunix, as a platform that provides crypto services to users globally, certainly values the development of the European market. But the market expansion has to be carried out according to the team’s planning and rhythm. While this is an industry that is known for fast-paced growth, making fewer mistakes and growing steadily is more appropriate.
When asked where the next stop for Bitunix’s global operations would be, Arron said it was in the planning stages, but did not rule out refocusing its goals on Asia given the current market situation.
